Set in the year 1939, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings follows the rogue archaeologist on an all-new globe-trotting quest for the mythical staff of Moses. Players can use their wits and daring on Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation2 Entertainment System developed by A2M and the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, which was developed by Amaze. Release date: Late spring 2009.

Step into the shoes of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in an all new epic adventure! Set in the year 1939, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings follows the rogue archaeologist on an all-new globe-trotting quest.

From San Francisco's Chinatown to the lush jungles of Panama, Indy must use his whip, fists and wits to fight through ruthless opposition as he spars with his nemesis, Magnus Völler, in a race for a relic of biblical proportions – the Staff of Moses.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings features completely interactive environments, where players need to call upon their wits and daring to make each spring-loaded environment a weapon in order to dispense of foes in clever and unexpected ways. Also, embark upon thrilling action sequences that remain true to the spirit established in scenes such as Indy's pursuit of the motorcade in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the mine-cart scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and the free-for-all aboard the tank in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

You can see screenshots and the game's trailer at Yahoo! Games.

It looks like a lot of fun to play on the Wii, but is anyone else disappointed that they canned the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions?

Yeah I was really looking forward to seeing Indy on the PS3. Undecided Hopefully there will be more Indy games in the future that will be released on the next-gen consoles.

The official website for the Staff of Kings was launched this week. Check it out here. Some of the features the site includes are an overview of the game, taken from Dr. Jones's own journal, cool avatars, wallpapers, screenshots, videos, trailers and even a widget for a scavenger hunt game.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is set to be released on the Wii, PSP, PS2, and Nintendo DS on June 9th.

Last decent Indy game was on the N64... and that was still infuriating in places.

Think Ill skip.

And LucasArts do have some gems, but on the whole, have an appalling back catologue of games.

I would buy it, I just havent seen any old games like that in any shops. I only just managed to find the whole series of Space Quest when I was searching for that. Another game I only just managed to find was Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. lol. Some games are just rare to find.

I wouldn't bother buying it. It was awful. They would've done better had they stuck with making it next-gen.

I would love to see the spanish text for the game too. Also for Fate of Atlantis in this case it would be only the text, Im not sure if the speeches were translated too since I had a version with no speech

So are the levels on the first 3 movies the same as on the first release of the game? Kinda like Star Wars did when they released the whole lego saga together and they just added a few new levels but the rest were the same?
